Woodland Estates Apartments
Seattle, Washington
Award-winning fire restoration.
Just before COVID-19, a catastrophic fire seriously damaged the integrity of this 25-year-old apartment building. The original general contractor had been unable to make significant progress on the restoration, so we were called in by a third-party adjuster.

The Challenge
The COVID-19 restrictions, combined with the building’s prolonged neglect, presented a variety of challenges for this project. The restoration requirements were fundamental to the structure, and since the building was occupied during our work, we had to complete many tasks quickly while minimizing disruption to the occupants.
The Solution
We worked closely with our engineering partner and the ownership’s on-site management team to ensure quick, thorough work and seamless communication throughout the project. The final result was a building in far superior condition than before the fire.
Over 3 months, our work transformed a severely damaged structure into one that was safe, modern, and even better suited to its occupants.
Back to the Studs
Section by section, we took the building down to the studs, almost completely rebuilding the structure.
